Memorial Day Weekend

Uncle Dan Dan bought a sumo tube for Memorial Day weekend - it was crazy and would spin on top of the water - we kicked off the boating season with Brooke and Brad.

Olia Gale, Jennifer and I have been friends since high school. We were in each others weddings....it had been 10 years or more since the 3 of us were together! We went to the beach for the weekend. It was so much fun - we had to protect Olia's porcelin skin - you can tell which foot is hers above!

BaseBALL

This was J's 1st year of baseball. It was kid-pitch, so he had to learn quickly! His favorite position was short stop. I loved watching his games and cheering all of the boys on. The Pirates only won 1 game and tied 1 game. The score was 9-10 in the last game - what dramatic improvement!

My "A"wesome Soccer Girl...

Ab loves playing soccer...she loves playing defense and prefers to protect the goal but they play 4 on 4 so she has to rotate through the positions.

Love My Nieces & Nephews

I am a great aunt again! We loaded up the SUV and traveled to SC to meet two great nephews - Ryder and Ethan.

Easter Lunch

Easter is my favorite holiday! The Easter story is so powerful - and I love to imagine what it would have been like to live during Jesus' time. This was my 2nd year hosting lunch, and I think I'm a pretty good cook. Nonna stayed 5 nights with us and my parents stayed about a week.

Judson & Abbie's Baptism

Abbie went forward last fall and asked to be baptized. She wanted to go through a salvation study with the youth director. Within a few weeks, Judson announced he was ready...I asked ready for what....he responded "ready to get dunked." Judson and Abbie completed the salvation study and made the decision to go forward and be baptized on Easter Sunday. It was such a special day. Memaw, Poppy, and Nonna traveled for the special event - Memaw & Poppy gave personalized Bibles to the kids.
